The time is now
Become: Breathwork Teacher Training
Become: Breathwork Teacher Training
Have you ever dreamed of becoming a breathwork facilitator?
Ever wanted to fully understand the science and ‘magic’ of breathwork?
Have you experienced the healing power of the breath and want to share it with others?
Whatever your plans, from leading groups, working one to one, guiding groups on retreat or in your home studio this course is designed to give you the tools and confidence required.
Whether you desire a change in lifestyle, are developing a ‘side hustle’ or want to incorporate this practice into your existing profession, the comprehensive ‘Becoming: breathwork teacher training’ is for you.
A little bit more about the course
This Programme is designed to give you all the skills and confidence to be your own unique professional breathworker in whatever settings you choose, from the corporate boardroom through to festivals and studios.
As a professional breathworker who has attended a lot of excellent (and otherwise) breathwork sessions, workshops, retreats and courses over the last couple of decades, I have created my own unique and comprehensive training programme aiming at 'best practice' all the way.
Timetable and Importance of in-person training
The basic timetables will be six months of training from September to March and March to September.
The current intake is for:
25th - 28th Sept,
17th - 20th March
Unlike many schools, we will start and end with 'In Person' sessions. This ensures that we practice confidently and safely over the training period. Our training will culminate in another 'In Person' session for Assessment, Certification and Celebration.
Our group size will be deliberately kept small to boost connection and personalisation.
Ethics
Ethics and the cultural origins of breathwork are core components and not simple add-ons or omissions. This will begin in our first weekend together to help guide your practice over the training period and beyond.
Course Structure
The course itself will be modular. Individuals can work at their own pace - however, there will be monthly group tutorials, discussion and check-ins. These will progress based on the workbook, on a module by module basis.
There's an incredible power to taking it slowly rather than just powering through in one go.
Study Groups and ‘Masterminds’ are encouraged but not mandatory.
I will also be available for contact (within reason) throughout the process. There’s also the possibility for additional mentoring.
Location and Costs
A holistic and rural retreat centre on the Island of Portland, Dorset.
This island is my ‘spiritual home’ and will allow us to be fully immersed in our training and with one another. There is a ‘quieting’ that comes over you when you are on Portland, especially towards The Bill where we will be - which is perfect for our intentions.
Accommodation ranges from very affordable onsite camping through to traditional Bnbs, AirBnbs and nearby hotels. Camping is only £12 per night with no charge for cars. Brunch and dinner will also be included when on site.
All of the training material, in-person training, monthly online sessions, assessment and certification will come in at only £2,100. This is very competitively priced as I am very aware of the current economic climate. The first four to sign-up will receive a £100 discount.
Training Content
We will cover the scientific and physiological basis of breathing and breathwork as well as many different modalities and techniques.
We'll also delve into the history and fundamental principles of the practice so everyone can contextualise the activities as well as the safety guidelines and issues.
We will also cover the practical aspects so that you can confidently plan your own sessions in any scenario and start a successful business for yourself.
Lastly, you will leave with the confidence and skills to hold a safe-space and run your own breathwork practice for groups or individuals.
